Simone Suppa: “We are aiming for 50% more traffic than now in LatAm. The market potential is huge”

  • Could you comment on Novusbet's presence in the Latin American market?

Currently we are operating in 4 countries: Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Brazil.We are supporting our clients with online and land-based solutions. Mostly online, but also with a mixture of channels, as players register themselves online but go to the shops to obtain information, watch the matches and place the bets. This option is especially common in Ecuador and Chile.

Brazil is mainly online, working a lot with influencers on social media, while in Peru there are different concepts: the standard player-cashier interaction and also the player that registers online but goes to the shop to place the bets with their own account.

What we do at Novusbet is an omnichannel approach, providing the solution for these specific needs so we have the possibility to follow the players’ journey from online to retail in a seamless way.

  • Do you have partners in the Peruvian market? - Tell us about its development?

Our main client is TeApuesto, from the La Tinka group, and they are using our online solution. They were using other less up-to-date software, so when they switched to Novusbet’s software their numbers skyrocketed. We polished everything to make a brand new better product and the numbers keep growing month after month.

The next step in our partnership with them is to launch a retail solution together. We are preparing a specific version of our retail solution in a way the players can go to the shop, book their bets and place them directly with a QR code. This will probably be ready for the next season. TeApuesto is a very important client for us, especially in sportsbook but also in casino, with a huge client base online. They have been operating with us for 2 years now, and their numbers have multiplied by 1,000.

  • What are the advantages of the services you offer?

One of our main advantages is that we provide a truly customised solution. Our business model is really flexible, and we can manage our software and change it according to market requirements.

We have experience of the market - studying competitors, main features and USP, and we report those to our clients.We make our clients succeed using our research and development, we give suggestions. That is our strongest point at the moment.

  • What are Novusbet's projections for the next semester of the year?

We are pushing a lot in the LatAm market, with three new clients starting shortly in four countries in total: Venezuela, Paraguay, Nicaragua and El Salvador.We are aiming for 50% more traffic than now in LatAm and I am confident we can achieve it, because the market potential is huge.
